How did I get into this? I had to become the monster I had to cut off the head of the dragon There is good medicine and there is not so good medicine and there is much to my dismay an evil in this world that I must now keep close to my chest for the pain helps me remember what I am not And what I am The pain helps me become a person of great substance. I saw a vision of her fire. I heard the voice of the great beyond that said, "You were chosen, not forsaken." I knew there is no other way to live than to dream. The nightmare is from what we awaken.

Geckomind 02:28
Oh lizard! Mister Wiggley Must you only care for yourself? Must you always poop in my coffee? You fear the fear though your tail will grow back again You are the reptilian overlord You are the invasive species Give us back this country

Will you stop purring and rubbing through these legs? I’m trying to walk barefoot and not be bitten by the fire ants that devoured your eyes that look like clouds, like 9 rainy days and 10 mornings and all have forgotten the sun’s glory “You are scary!” says the neighbor “I wouldn’t touch you with a 900 foot pole!” But now Shadow is mine so I let her in through the door from time to time. God gave me this god awful feline for a reason! I reason… The worms in its belly, its soft fur, its constant need for loving She strains her voice at dawn to let me know that she’s alive, and hungry. She trips me down the stairs and climbs in through the closed window and purrs at the end of my bed Shadow, Will you ever leave me? Or will I have to leave you? Or will we find a way to twirl together in unison If the ants stop biting The bee keeper says your eyes will heal one day.

Cool down and come across the soggy soil that ate my flip flop an homage to the valley to the gulches that separate me from the home built on stilts and the women who cook and clean We drink mini bottles of red wine and talk about how enlightenment is boring making money is nice and so is picking papayas and floating underneath waterfalls on an air mattress made for goddesses who see so much more clearly I’m a logistical expert at unpacking and relaxing and listening to fingerpicking it’s a fancy invention an original song of who we might be

Transference 03:00
The process never stops and I am grateful that I’ll survive another day and find another chance to try again and find my heart beating despite having loved so many. They broke me into splinters, into fragments of personality that I block out from within and I see on your lips As I lust for myself So I can know myself for how else can I fear no enemy? You were always nothing but my chance for healing. Raindrops patter on the tin roof over raw foodists and if I listen I can hear the choir of birds singing. They say: “You are loved. You have always been loved The only problem is that you are blind, you are deaf, and you are dumb.” I am betrayed, I am backstabbed and still not slain. When there is no finale There are only lessons and the weight falls away.

What if sin was really just a thirst for the lower half of my own body, for a mouth to speak the thoughts behind these eyes, The desire to experience all of life’s cake, its starfruit, its coconut smoothies, its wild pigs and kahlua pork, Is it a sin to be born this hungry? The Catholics says: to be an animal is inhumane So they took my tabla drum, They took my infinite love and tried to put it in a cage. Now I sit on the sidewalk and smoke cigarettes made of loose tobacco and flower pedals repeating Jesus’s name. Good girls go to Heaven. Bad girls go everywhere, all over the place.

I'm In 02:20
Love prevails all trauma. A warrior has two duties: to heal and to kill Both are equally sacred Humans are here on a mission to turn negativity into positivity, to reassume our place in the kingdom of Heaven where all other species live and breathe. It all starts with the words: I'M IN. I'm infinite. Past, present, and future selves let's meet, in the circle of sovereignty, where relations are clean, actions are complete, and nothing needs to be undone, so we can create a world where abundance is available for everyone.

It’s not the object, It’s not the light it’s the hue that radiates off the form and bridges the divide between darkness and sunshine the embodied luminescence displayed from the edges where we played. A smart man has a dog and learns how to clean up his messes quickly, A wise man gets rid of the dog. It’s not that big of challenge unless you believe the dog is you and you need the dog to be. These are the words of a sage in a lifetime of recovery. So get rid of the thought that you are a wave instead of an ocean, Get rid of the resentment, Get rid of the shame, the need to be someone, For you are the space. It’s POW unless it’s pono. If it’s not peace, then walk away. It’s not about sex, It’s about love Two is already one. You, in all your states, I, would never ask you to change.

Ho'oponopono 02:44
We in our wretchedness have done nothing wrong but desire to be known. So please, find mercy for the ways I’ve cast you as someone unworthy of mistakes, of temptation, of bruised fortitude. We have all endured far too much to keep going, and still, we do. We teach as we falter, We pray to replace the hate for the mothers we never had for the fathers and the sisters we’ve forgotten for the brothers who lost who they are with love for the family we chose and choose. Our behavior is what matters when the sacred is stripped and sold and the downtrodden are blamed, when the guilty are named king, how will you stand? with acceptance, repentance, and with faith in the gift of this life and land, for the finger that points within, can spare two hands. We were made for a second chance.

We were given this planet to decide what to do with it You are the instrument the sword of intellect is your weapon to cut through a realm of illusion and dive into the vast sea of conscious awareness So may your imagination stay forever graced with inspiration May passion pump through your heart and through your veins To be human is to know not what we do and to face the ways we harm those we devote ourselves to is to know the work that must be done So I train my mind to read the signs I adjust my footsteps to walk with you across nature's thinnest line The tightrope of redemption As I ride down the good Red Road of life, death and preservation

about

I wrote this album of experimental spoken word poetry while living by an active volcano in the jungle on the Big Island of Hawaii. The poems here also include many concepts made famous by Carl Jung. So, do you get it? The Jung-le? Do you get my inspiration yet?
